Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krishi Swavalamban Yojana

A scheme to provide financial assistance to Scheduled Caste/Neo-Buddhist farmers to increase their income and improve their standard of living, taking into account the changed situation and maintaining soil moisture, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Krishi Swavalamban Yojana is being implemented since 2016/17 under the government decision of 5 January 2017.

For the implementation of the said scheme under the year 2023-24, a fund of Rs. 200.00 lakhs has been received. Administrative approval has been given to 322 beneficiaries and the amount for this is Rs. 183.45 lakhs. Today, finally, a grant of Rs. 69.03 lakhs has been paid to 109 beneficiaries. The process of paying the grant is underway.

The fund sanctioned under the year 2024-25 is Rs. 150.00 lakhs. Beneficiaries of 123 items have been selected through lottery from the MahaDBT portal and the grant amount for this is Rs. 76.74 lakhs. The beneficiary selection process is underway on the MahaDBT portal.
