Modi Awas Yojana – Rural

Department – Other Backward Classes Welfare Department
Purpose – Other Backward Classes ( OBC) and Special Backward Classes ( SBC) in rural areas of the state
Beneficiary selection – through Gram Sabha and final selection through District Level Committee
Features – It is a 100% state-sponsored scheme and is implemented on the lines of PMAY-G.
 a house with a kitchen and toilet in a minimum carpet area of 269 sq. ft.
 Rs. 1.20 lakh per beneficiary in general area and Rs. 1.30 lakh per beneficiary in Naxal affected/hilly area
 MGNREGA: 90/95 days of unskilled man-days of labour
 12,000 /- grant for toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) (if eligible)
