Yashwantrao Chavan Mukt Vasahat Yojana (Rural)

Department – Other Backward Classes Welfare Department , Government of Maharashtra
Objective – Housing scheme for the Vimukta Jati Nomadic Tribes ( VJNT ) category in the rural areas of the state.
Features –
 individual or collective schemes for at least 10 families to construct a house for each beneficiary .
 Minimum 269 sq. ft. of floor area of the house is expected to be constructed with kitchen and toilet.
 Beneficiary Selection – Selection by District Level Committee
 100% State Sponsored Scheme.
 Rs. 1.20 lakh in general area and Rs. 1.30 lakh in Naxal affected/hilly area
 90/95 unskilled man-days of wages under MGNREGA
 12,000 /- grant for toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) (if eligible)
